Reciprocating Compressors operate at high temperatures and pressures and their main requirement is to sustain a strong film so as to avoid surface wear. Being formulated from high viscosity base oils, Compressor Oils provide better film strength even at high temperatures. They have shown low carbon forming tendency, good demulsibility, low sludge and deposit and exceptional resistance to oxidation and thermal degradation. They have been blended with fitting additive dosage to impart, anticorrosive and antiwear properties
